[android-developers] What maps is Google Maps for Android available for?

I've read that Google Maps is not available for the Android version of
the Acer Aspire. It would like to get an Android netbook or tablet,
but Maps is a requirement.

Does Google Maps, Turn by Turn navigation, etc not work at all, or are
just not installed by default?
