Even were that not so, the Bluetooth and NFC hardware determine the frequencies, not the Android software.

Never mind "typically", I don't even think there's a counterexample. Prove me wrong, of course, if I am.

It's sort of like trying to convert your cordless landline phone into a cellphone. Different everything at every level.
