Android doesn't have any unique things that have caught on.
Furthermore, many Android apps are closed source, so it's hard to
evaluate what most people are using. There is certainly a large
presence of Android apps on Github, but there are also many on
SourceForge, Bitbucket, etc...
Google has no commercial incentive to provide a Github like service to
app developers: especially since they already have many other popular
options.
