Dear Ralph,

                 I have read the thread so is it true that google map does not handle individual layer like openlayer is it can you confirm this? So I guess the best I have to categorize the markers and hide or show them never mind I will take some time to do some research first. Thank you.

Marker categories (More advanced Stuff, part 25). What you are
handling are collections of markers. See this thread too:

GLayer is for external data from defined sources. See
