Contact UI for creating and editing your custom contact. So, that
pretty much defeats the purpose of synchronizing back to the server
since you can't edit the contact on the device. Unless you have your
own Contacts application or do some heavy and annoying stuff by
catching the Intent to create or edit the contact in your own app. But
that road is a pain. And you'll lose a lot of the functionality of the
Contacts application.

I don't think it's really a bug... It's just mean.
