[android-developers] Can any body explain about activity time outs?

In my application i am getting warning as activity pause time-out for
history record.
My understanding is that, if any activity's pause and destroy methods
are lengthy.
Then Android system will terminate these activities, with out
completing pause and destroy methods.

Any clarifications on this topic will be appreciated.
