[android-developers] Downloading Files Directly in Webview without it opening the browser

I am working on a application which I want the users to be able to
download content Directly inside the Client IE the Webview instead of
clicking a download link and it opens a browser to download the
content.

Is it possible and how to go about doing so as I am a newbie in
programing for JAVA and Android
