I recently fell into similar problem. Browsing through web i came to know the problem is known to amazon, follow the thread for the same "https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?threadID=77663"

It has to do with "https" protocol. Try using "http" instead, works very well to me.

When opening the url *directly* the browser downloads the video file.

Any pointers would really be appreciated. I've not found out what is going wrong here...
