There Apple have generously discontinued support for CVS, and are now huffing and puffing to discontinue support for SVN too.
Not to derail this thread further (I think the OP has long lost interest =P) but how did they manage that ...? Surely you can use whatever you want on your files, even if there is nothing built in to the IDE?
