[android-developers] Re: Media Player not working on HTTPS as Data source

Hi 

I am facing the same issue, I changed my url from http to https and my media player object is no longer able to play the mp3.

Is there any work around?

I'd like this to be fixed if it is an SDK issue...

The only work around I can think of is to download the file locally and have it played, but this will have a long delay before the file can play.

Any other suggestions?
