[android-developers] Handling Cookies

I recently dealt with managing cookies in an Android application that
I'm developing, and wondering if there's a better model for the way
that I'm handling them.

On my web requests I'm creating a DefaultHttpClient object, and then
using httpClient.getCookieStore().getCookies() to load the list of
cookies retrieved from the server when I initially log in. After
storing all of these cookies in the Application, I then use
httpClient.getCookieStore().addCookie() to add those cookies back into
subsequent requests.

Is there a better method, or is this the only way to handle this?

Thanks,
Joel
