What I did was (just got the tablet this afternoon):
- Tweaked the driver .inf file, tweaked adb_usb.ini
- Brought up the Device Manager, manually associated the modified driver with the tablet's ADB device (it initially showed up as missing the drivers).
- Restarted adb with "adb kill-server" / "adb start-server", then typed "adb devices" and the tablet was listed in the output.
