I'll second the recommendation of Mario's book.  It's very good for taking you through the basics all the way to implementing your first game.

One suggestion if you're going to carry on with this:  You really need to learn to search.  This question has been asked so many times on this group alone.  If you come back with further questions then you need to demonstrate that  you've actually tried to look for the solution yourself.
