[android-developers] Re: Check a particular point lies on a route of Google Map

You would need to use the directions API to calculate the route and then compare your point E to each of the route segments. You will also need to define what "lies on the route" means in terms of precision.

Hello,

We are searching for a solution to check whether a point is lying on a route of goole map. We can get the start and end location 's latitude and longitude. For example Mr X is starting from point A and will reach point B via point C and D. Now Mr Y will start from point E and we want to check whether this point E lies on the route of Mr A or not.

We have search Google map api but not able to finf any solution.

Can anyone help  me out on this??

 Waiting for your reply.

Thanks
