[android-developers] Pinging Through a Wireless Router on Motorola Droid

I have a DLink router configured as follows
Router IP address 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

It has DHCP Enabled Range 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.100

I am able to connect to this router with an iPhone and a Droid, I can
see an IP address of 192.168.0.xx on the Wi-Fi network settings, and I
can ping the router correctly at 192.168.0.1.

I have a Canopy Subscriber module (Motorola high-speed proprietary
broadband) connected at the other end.

IP Address: 169.254.1.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway IP Address: 169.254.0.0
DHCP is Disabled

I am able to ping 169.254.1.1 with an iPhone but not a Droid?

Regards,

-SS
