Re: [android-developers] Internet access

Try rebooting the emulator. Particularly on older emulator editions,
it seems like the emulator tries pinging some server to confirm
Internet access, and if that ping fails, the emulator falls into
no-connectivity mode.

(note: by "ping" I mean a generic test, not necessarily ICMP packets)
