[id-android] Wti :[OTA Captured] KitKat Soak Test Live for the Droid RAZR HD!

Not too long ago, the Motorola Feedback Network started sending out soak test invites for an upcoming update for the Droid RAZR HD. The update is now here, and as many had assumed, it's packing Google's tastiest treat: Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The firmware currently being tested comes in at Blur Version 9.18.94, and it is for the Verizon Droid RAZR HD XT926 only. In other words, if you have an XT925, this update will not work for you without modification. The soak test itself began late last night, with XDA Senior Member jtommyj being the first to post about it to XDA. Not too long after, Forum Member y2kbadbug also got his update, alongside the following email:

Thanks for signing up for the Droid RAZR HD/HD Maxx software test. The software should be pushed to your phone later this evening. We're counting on your participation in the private community — so please take part!

Please do not call or contact Motorola or Verizon support for help during the soak. Those teams are not yet ready to support this software.

If you have any problems accessing the private community, please reply back to this email for help. Please remember that your login email address is the one where you are receiving this message.

So what do you do if you didn't register for the soak test and want to get in on the KitKat action a bit early? Thankfully, XDA Senior Member zachariahpope has posted a mirror to the forrums for your sideloading pleasure.

Head over to the KitKat tracking thread to learn more. And if you want to install the soak test a bit early, head to this post and sideload away! But as we stated above, please keep in mind that this is for the Verizon US (XT926) version of the device only.
