If all you need is to save a picture of what they draw, that's fairly easy.
You just need to capture the coordinates of MotionEvent.ACTION_DOWN/UP/MOVE
events and draw lines/curves on screen. Then capture the view as a
Bitmap and save to DB. There is a sample of the drawing part in
ApiDemos.
