[android-developers] Re: Bet practice for determining when a Service has done its work.

Thanks, but I am not seeing how that solves it. Getting access to know
if the service is done or not isn't the problem as I just use a public
static variable as suggested here:

The problem is how to block waiting on that without sucking up CPU.

I don't see any way to register for a callback which was what I was
hoping for.

Am I going about this in the wrong way? Again, all I want is to either
be informed that the service is at a certain point (about to finish or
just finished) without using a lot of CPU.
