Check this:

There are certain requirements for the updated Google Android OS to be
available on units, some of the major requirements being that the unit
has to be a cellular device, have a certain size screen that is
smaller than the screen on our units, and the unit has to have a
camera. As this is not the case with our units, we are not eligible
for the Google updates at the moment. We apologize for the
inconvenience this has caused.
